What is integrative counselling?
Integrative counselling is a combined approach to counselling that combines different elements of different styles of therapy. Integrative therapists believe that there is no single approach suitable for everyone, and that everyone should be considered as an individual with their own needs. Can you tell me about your experience?
I consider myself to have both 'life experience' as well as qualifications in counselling. I believe both are hugely important, to learn the skills and tools for providing a therapeutic relationship, as well as having lived experience. My own experience supports me to empathetic, yet mindful that this is your journey.
I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) - a governing body for counselling professionals to ensure and adhere to their code of ethics (more info here). I have completed qualifications in therapeutic study as approved by the Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body (CPCAB) - ' the UKs leading awarding body specialised in counselling, an organisation run by counsellors for counsellors'.
